Apex Medical Training is a local family owned and operated business that prides itself in embracing a low stress culture and growth mindset approach to learning.  Apex Medical Training was started by Saul Saavedra with a vision to provide the highest quality teaching of life saving skills. Saul graduated as a nurse from Loma Linda University in 2000 and with over 20 years of experience in the  areas of Trauma, Emergency Department and Intensive Care he knows how critical it is to have high quality training.  During his nursing training Saul was involved in teaching by coordinating and leading weekly lecture review groups with other nursing students.  He currently works in the Emergency Department and has remained involved in different aspects of education in the field of nursing, from yearly competencies and protocol development to the training of new graduate nurses.

Giving back

Apex Medical Training is committed to giving back to the community. Several times a year free training is offered to different nonprofit community and international groups. Saul has served as a medical volunteer in medical relief trips to Kenya and Mexico to provide medical training and patient care.
